Overview:
The Financial Aid Processor has the primary responsibility awarding, packaging, verifying and processing Title IV and other aid for campuses. They also will calculate Title IV refunds.

R2T4 Calculations/Refunds

ISIR Import and Export

Monitoring ISIR rejects

Exporting and Importing Pell Originations

Loan Exports and Imports
-
EFT Roster Processing
-
Exporting and Importing Pell
-
Works with Financial Aid, Business Office to make sure transactions (and rejects) are processed (resolved) in a timely and accurate manner.

Communicates with lenders and guarantor agency.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Corporate Directors.
The minimum qualifications needed to effectively fulfill the functions of the position include:

Associates Degree preferred.

3 years experience in financial aid. Demonstrated knowledge of financial aid functions as indicated in job description is strongly preferred.

Excellent communication (verbal and written).

Knowledge of FFELP loans and Title IV regulations required.

Strong interpersonal skills, including but not limited to; being patient with “customers” with basic computer skills, listening to the customers’ entire question and concern before answering them appropriately, etc.

Prefer knowledge of PowerFaids.

Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team of training professionals.

Ability to work independently.

Meticulous and attentive to detail.
