We are looking for Financial Services Associate to help us work with various Business Departments to ensure Accounts Payable business processes are being performed accurately and on a timely basis. As a Trex Financial Services Associate, you will be looked to as an innovator and be responsible for supporting the company's Accounts Payable Department by participating in daily disbursement activities as well as providing data analysis and error resolution. This role is a key member of our Accounting team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Put safety first - always.
  • Lead and foster our "people first" culture.
  • Accurately entering invoices into the Accounts Payable system. Responsible for paying all approved invoices within terms and taking discounts when applicable. Verifying signature authority, purchase order receipt and account coding. Ensuring that there are never duplicate payments.
  • Ensure rents and recurring vouchers are processed timely and accurately. Maintaining setup and administration of lease and rental agreements.
  • Ensure Raw Materials vendors are processed through evaluated receipts timely and accurately.
  • Responsible for communicating purchase orders received but not vouchered in Accounts Payable to the appropriate internal parties.
  • Be involved and support improving the accuracy of departmental records and information processes for the accounting team and other departments. Train others outside the department in the basic record keeping skills and procedures, for example, travel and entertainment expense reimbursement forms and purchase orders. Support other departments by assisting them in assignments and reports per approval from the accounting supervisor.
  • Assisting with various other Financial Services Duties such as Accounts Receivable, expense report reimbursements, Payroll, 1099 preparation, and daily cash transactions.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with an associate's degree or minimum of 3 years of related experience. If you have previous experience in Accounts Payable, Receivables, Payroll or a similar data entry position, we want to hear from you.
