The UCLA Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine is seeking a motivated Clinical Program Assistant to join our team. This role entails managing clinical scheduling and reporting systems across our various sites of operation. In this role, you will optimize the distribution of clinical calls among staff, facilitate communication with personnel and education offices, and support wellness initiatives for our residency program. Collaborating with program leads, you will coordinate events and provide coverage for the Education office. During periods of on-site shortages or high event volumes like recruitment, additional transactional tasks may be required.

Hourly range: $28.23-$40.44

Qualifications

Required:

  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple changing schedules in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a combination of equivalent education, training and experience
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, and Mail merge
  • Experienced in a clinical setting and with clinical schedules.
  • Flexible schedule to host evening/weekend events or provide coverage

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of MedHub and QGenda systems
  • 1-2yrs of experience in active participation or leading wellness initiatives
  • 1-2yrs of experience in working with trainees
