Job Description

Behr Paint Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Digital Growth & Innovation. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to lead eCommerce, analytics, and innovation across our BEHR and KILZ brands, creating a seamless and interconnected experience for our DIY and PRO market segments. As a leader in the Brand Marketing department, you will collaborate with multiple teams and departments to implement digital strategies and initiatives that align with our company goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess digital maturity and develop roadmaps to build world-class digital and analytics capabilities.
  • Find creative digital solutions and advanced technologies to elevate products, services, processes, and the customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in implementing digital initiatives, overseeing the project portfolio from concept to finalization.
  • Collaborate with team members to incorporate digital capabilities into long-term planning and secure commitment from leadership.
  • Evaluate new digital tools (AI, analytics, SAAS) to support business solutions and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and establish processes for ideation, experimentation, and rapid prototyping of digital solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, improve methods, and ensure investments are in line with digital strategy objectives.
  • Foster a culture of prioritizing digital strategies, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and implementation of effective approaches throughout the organization.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top digital talent to bring robust capabilities within teams.
  • Work with other Brand Marketing teams to deliver analytics and recommended optimizations for digital touchpoints (websites, apps, social media) to enhance consumer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Build advanced analytics capabilities to drive marketing effectiveness.
  • Leverage AI/ML models and techniques to uncover consumer trends, preferences, and behavior patterns.
  • Establish partnerships with technology providers, startups, and academia to accelerate digital innovation.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends (e.g. VR, AR, IoT, etc.) exploring their potential applications to enhance digital experiences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related work experience equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience leading digital transformation and e-commerce initiatives
  • Expertise in digital experience, consumer analytics, ecommerce, and marketing
  • Strong understanding of how digital capabilities contribute to tangible business outcomes
  • Proven track record in managing complex technology implementations and digital product launches that drive business growth
  • Strong abilities in leading, managing relationships, and collaborating with various teams
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, ML, etc.) and their applications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Recommended for Position:
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills with the ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, and coordinate a range of work activities or tasks to meet department and project timelines
  • Capable of communicating clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
