Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly qualified attorney to join its Mass Torts Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, mediation, motions practice, and trial. The successful candidate will be assigned cases in a team setting lead by seasoned litigators.
Candidates must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials. The ideal candidate will have exceptional oral and written communication skills, 2 to 5 years of previous law firm experience involving toxic tort, product liability, personal injury, and/or complex litigation matters, pre-trial discovery experience, strong background in scientific and technical issues. The litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group collaborate to analyze and strategize how to handle each case. It is essential that the successful candidate have the skill, knowledge, and ability to investigate, conduct research, and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively and cooperatively with paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff.


Candidates must be licensed in California, must be willing to take the next available California bar exam, or be eligible to seek admission without examination. Candidate must be willing to travel for depositions, court appearances, and other proceedings as necessary.
