Description

As our Research Finance Analyst, you will oversee research proposals, awards and / or transactions related to contract and grant management and maintain contract and grant records in compliance with institutional and research sponsor policies. You will work on proposals of moderate scope such as single investigator NSF proposals where analysis of financial information or reports requires review of a variety of factors (e.g. budgets, salaries, expenses, etc.). PRE-AWARD: PROPOSAL COORDINATION * Compiles materials required for proposals. * Communicates with internal stakeholders regarding proposal timelines. PRE-AWARD: PROPOSAL PREPARATION * Formats documents and uploads materials to internal and sponsor portals. * Assists in preparing technical aspects of proposals. * Finalizes and submits internal documents for pre-award submission. PRE-AWARD: COMPLIANCE * Submits protocols to obtain required usage approvals, including human & animal subjects, biohazards, etc. * Discloses export control-related data or COI. OTHER ADMINISTRATIVE & SUPPORT SERVICES * Actively participate in training and meetings related to research administration. * Take a lead role in completing other special projects as assigned, providing supervisor with suggestions for continuous improvement. POST-AWARD: FINANCIAL REPORTING & BUDGET FORECASTING * Creates monthly financial reports incorporating general ledger and payroll ledger data. * Develops cost projections. Salary Range: $28.20 to $60.57 Hourly
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent administration experience 3+ years of research administration experience. 3+ years of financial, clerical, or administrative experience Close attention to detail in a fast-paced, fluctuating workload environment.
