We're actively seeking a talented Technology Finance Manager to join our Technology Finance team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As a Technology Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in enterprise financial management, with specific focus on global technology expenses. The position will primarily be responsible for budget, forecast, variance analysis, IT allocations, and global reporting for Technology Senior leadership team, but will also have extended responsibilities as key business partner to finance and initiative leaders across PL. We are seeking a dynamic leader that will build relationships across the enterprise, help drive IT cost optimization globally, and foster a culture of disciplined, data-driven expense management strategies, while managing the day-to-day tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent communication/presentation skills.

How you'll help us move forward:

Financial Planning and Budgeting

  • Develop and manage the annual IT budget in alignment with the company's overall financial goals and IT strategy
  • Work closely with IT leadership to identify and prioritize investment opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and resource allocation strategies
  • Monitor and analyze IT spending, providing regular updates and insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with procurement, vendor management and IT teams to track / negotiate contracts with IT vendors, ensuring favorable terms and pricing

Financial Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the financial performance of IT projects, initiatives, and ongoing operations
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and trends
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing IT spending and improving cost efficiency
  • Owns and maintains standardized expense taxonomy for Enterprise finance - GL & Cost center use, effective expense structure, project tracking, manage cost pools, attributions, activities and hierarchies, etc.
  • Provides businesses with transparencies across Technology shared service allocations and long term projections to help align with divisional goals

Strategic Planning and Decision Support

  • Provide financial guidance and support to IT leadership in strategic planning and decision-making processes
  • Evaluate business cases and ROI analyses for IT investments, helping to prioritize initiatives based on financial impact and strategic alignment
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive alignment between IT and business objectives

The experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years' work experience in financial planning and analysis (preferably technology finance) or related with demonstrated progression of responsibility
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required (high rate of interaction with officers and senior executives)
  • A high level of critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable insights to help influence critical decisions
  • Demonstrated competency in leadership, partnership, customer focus
  • EPM experience - Hyperion Planning/EPBCS, Essbase, Smartview, OAC or other dashboarding tools (Power BI)
  • General understanding of Technology Business Management is highly desirable
  • Expert in Excel, Powerpoint, and data analysis.
  • Understanding of general expense management process within a large enterprise with multiple divisions preferred

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$144,630.00 - $176,770.00
