Overview

Job Purpose

The Technical Consultant for ICE Mortgage Technology's Data & Document Automation (DDA) solution will participate in the project lifecycle by understanding client business and technical requirements, developing solutions, configuring, and testing. Core responsibilities will include interfacing directly with Product & Engineering teams to ensure that client sites are provisioned properly, advising on best practices of API's & data, configuring connection between Encompass & DDA, and supporting custom integrations between the DDA Automation and 3rd party systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform delivery activities such DDA site provisioning and smoke testing
  • Support Project Delivery team on technical expertise regarding platform architecture
  • Troubleshoot product defects and help identify a solution or root cause
  • Provide knowledge around ICE product features and functions and make necessary best practice recommendations
  • Interact with client and demonstrate understanding of their business and technical needs
  • Facilitate sessions and drive consensus on approach and best practice technical solutions for ICE products
  • Conduct testing and training with client users
  • Work closely with the client's project team, project team members, and internal resources such as product management, engineering, and technical support

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical consulting
    • Mortgage Industry operational and/or mortgage underwriting experience is a plus.
    • Knowledge or support of loan origination solutions
  • Technical skills may include knowledge in XML, RPA Scripts, C#, Visual Basic, .Net Framework, SQL, JavaScript, Process Builder, Encompass Doc Solutions (EDS), TPO Portal, Encompass Web, Input Form Builder, SDLC
  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills
  • Excellent at understanding the problem before solving
  • Ability to troubleshoot and establish a root cause prior to providing solution
  • Manage time and deadlines
  • Work in a cross-team collaboration model
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
