Acara Solutions is seeking an SMT Process Technician role in Irvine, CA. This is a Temp to Hire role.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years of SMT Technician experience. In this role, successful candidates

must know CAD Data and or Fuji programming (Nexim or Flex). The candidate will have the ability to work with minimal

supervision and be comfortable with little to no downtime. The candidate will be skilled in programming AOI equipment, Reflow

Oven profiling, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. The pay range for this role is $23.00 - 31.00 per hour p/hr.

SMT Process Technician job responsibilities include:

Generate pick and place programs for SMT Machines
Create and modify component profiles for SMT and AOI equipment
Create / Maintain SMT assembly folders
Generate inspection programs for AOI machine
Develop and maintain reflow oven profiles
Maintain Stencil inventory
Maintain consumable items (solder paste, adhesive, gloves, wipes)
Provide technical support to machine operators
Support efforts to meet goals with Production Operators, Engineers, Design, and Management
Perform other direct and in-direct tasks as required
Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards
Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to meet business conditions or changes

Job Requirements

BASIC/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Understanding of IPC-A-610, Class 3 workmanship standards
Good communication skills; both verbally and in writing
FUJI Programming software experience a plus
CAD Data is required
AOI Programming is a plus
Must be able to read and understand the Bill of Materials, Assembly drawings
Good mechanical skills
Capable of manufacturing assembly fixtures
Familiar with MS Office
Experience with ERP systems is helpful

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Technical degree/certificate preferred
3-5 years of experience programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting Surface Mount equipment
