Home Care Caregiver

Shifts : Per Diem, Variable

$400Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.

We are seeking friendly and compassionate in home caregivers with a flexible availability to assist our clients, within the North Orange County, South Orange County, East LA County, West LA County and Inland Empire Areas. We are hiring Home Care Providers, Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team.

Home Care Caregivers provides personal care and related services in the home. Functions under directions of Plan of Care developed by clinician and/or delegate.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous work experience as a caregiver OR clinical experience as a nursing student OR have an active CA CNA certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active HCA
  • Proof of auto liability insurance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Active BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 months experience as an in home caregivers

LVN

Shifts : Per Diem, Variable

$400Hiring Bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment.

We are seeking friendly and compassionate in-home Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to assist our clients. Hours are available for AM and PM shifts in all areas of Orange County. Nursing experience in home health, home care or in an assisted living/senior living/nursing home setting as an LVN is a plus.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) administers care to patients in a home health/home care setting under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). J n

Job Requirements:

  • Completes necessary education to attain LVN licensure in the state of California
  • One year of Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience
  • Current California LVN license
  • California driver's license
  • Proof of auto liability insurance
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification completed by start date

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Phlebotomy and/or IV certification

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.

HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life. Our service lines include assisted living/skilled nursing/rehabilitation, home health, home infusion/pharmacy services, home medical equipment, hospice and palliative care, Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), personal home services/private duty care and supportive housing.
